Congratulations John McLaughlin. After winning the 2016 Keema Excel Cup, John did some laps in one of the Peters Motorsport V8 Utes yesterday as part of the preparation for the upcoming Bathurst round. Not only was John fast but also consistent and easy on the car. Racing his Tradie Ute this season would have helped the transition but it was interesting to hear there was still quite a bit of difference between the V8 and 6 Cyl apart from the horsepower. #matthewpaulphotography

John McLaughlin has skipped out to a handy lead in the Tradie Ute points. After belting around in his Tradie Ute (6 cyl) for a few rounds, John will be testing a V8 Ute this week as part of his prize for winning the 2016 Keema Cars Excel Cup. With the Peters Motorsport Utes getting final preps and shakedowns for the round at Bathurst, its the perfect time to get John behind the wheel.
